Most First Invest Start Participants Profited off Apple Shares
28 February 2021 saw the end of the first stage of TeleTrade Invest Start. Thanks to Apple securities remaining volatile at 13% during the promo, the majority of participants closed their positions enjoying profit. Under Invest Start terms and conditions, those who did not take advantage of the promo were fully reimbursed by the broker at its own expense.
To recap, the first Invest Start was held between 1 November 2020 and 28 February 2021. As part of the promo, clients who funded their trading accounts with one of several increments totalling $500–$5,000 got free trades in Apple Inc. (APPL) shares. The number of Apple shares each Invest Start participant received from TeleTrade was equal to the amount funded according to the current share price.
Within 5 months, the value of APPL shares on the stock market changed, affected by many factors; the volatility would reach 13%. The first Invest Start participant could thus make the most of the promo, locking in profits in their trading accounts.
