TeleTrade increases the number of value shares in investment portfolios

From 2021, the TeleTrade broker has significantly increased the number of value shares in its investment portfolios.

Thus, shares of one of the leaders of the aircraft industry Boeing (BA) have been added to the TeleTrade Safety investment portfolio and to the TeleTrade Perspective portfolio. Also, shares of US banks Wells Fargo (WFC), Citigroup (C), telecommunications company AT&T (T), auto giant Ford (F) and one of the largest chemical companies DuPont (DD) have been added to the TeleTrade High Yield portfolio.

The smooth correction of the portfolio investment strategy is explained by the gradual recovery of the global economy and demand against the backdrop of accelerated mass vaccinations and a gradual decline in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The broker's experts refer to the forecasts of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, according to which the growth rate of the world economy in 2021 could reach 5.6% against a decrease of 3.4% in 2020. The annual GDP growth of the United States in 2021 is projected at 6.5%, China - 7.8%, India - 12.6%.

TeleTrade also cites the opinion of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak about the recovery in oil demand to the level of 2018-2019 by the end of 2022. Previously, a recovery in demand was predicted rather in 2023.

In the short term, shares in the banking sector, telecommunications companies, aviation and automobile manufacturing, chemical industry, construction, and consumer goods manufacturing may gain an advantage over growth shares, which include, for example, securities of high-tech enterprises.»
