USD/JPY is testing MA (200) H1

Today, the USD/JPY pair is trading in the range of 151.80-152/90 - slightly below the 3-month high of 153.90 reached earlier this week. On the hourly chart, the pair is testing the MA (200) H1 (152.50) moving average line and on the four-hour chart it remains above MA (200) H4 (147.95). Technically speaking, the resistance of 153.90 is still keeping USD/JPY from further growth. If this level is broken, the pair may rise to 155.35. The lower limit of 151.45 represents a strong support level.

Resistance levels are: 152.90, 153.90, 155.55

Support levels are:  151.45. 150.50, 148.85

The main scenario for the pair's promotion assumes a breakout of the session high of 152.90 and there may be an increase to 153.90 (Oct 28 high)

An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the support of 151.45 (Oct 25 low) and may be a decrease to 150.50 (Oct 22 low).
