Today, the USD/JPY pair is trading in the range of 153.05-154.35 - slightly above the 3-month low of 152.00 reached last week. On the hourly chart, the pair remains below the MA (200) H1 (155.55) moving average line. The situation is similar on the four-hour chart. Technically speaking, the resistance of 154.75 may keep USD/JPY from further growth. If this level is broken, the pair may rise to 157.85. The lower limit of 152.00 represents a strong support level.
⦁ Resistance levels are: 154.75, 157.85, 159.45
⦁ Support levels are: 152.00, 150.80, 150.25
The main scenario for the pair's promotion assumes a decrease to 152.00 (May 3 and July 25 low) and then, maybe, to 150.80 (April 5 low)
An alternative scenario implies a breakout of the resistance of 154.75 (July 26 high) and MA (200) H1 (155.55) and there may be an increase to 157.85 (July 19 high).
