Today, the USD/JPY pair is trading in the 151.20-50 range, slightly below the more than one-year high of 151.70 reached on October 31. On the hourly chart, the pair moved above the H1 MA (200) moving average line (150.60). On the four-hour chart, the pair moved above the H4 MA (200) (149.75). Technically speaking, resistance at 151.70 may keep prices from rising further. If this level is passed, the pair may rise to 152.00. The lower boundary of 150.30 represents a support level.
⦁ Resistance levels are: 152.00, 153.00, 154.00
⦁ Support levels are: 151.20, 150.65-80, 150.30
The main scenario for the pair suggests a rise to 152.00 (Oct 21’ 2022 high) and maybe to the psychological level of 153.00.
The alternative scenario implies a break of support at 151.20 (Nov 10 low) and maybe a decline to 150.65-80 (Nov 9 low, MA (200) H1).
