Oil: an overview of the market situation

Oil prices rose slightly , closer to $ 111 per barrel (Brent), as many traders have begun to analyze , whether positive U.S. data prompt the Federal Reserve to start reducing its bond buying program .

Published today a report showed that U.S. gross domestic product grew by 3.6 per cent per annum in the third quarter , compared with the initial estimate of 2.8 % level , and experts forecast at around 3.1 %. January futures price for North Sea Brent crude oil mixture rose 10 cents to $ 111.67 a barrel on the London exchange ICE Futures Europe.
